Hakkeijima Sea Paradise Tickets: Price, Which Pass to Buy and the Cheap Keikyu Ticket from Tokyo (2026)
Short answer: walking onto the island is free. You pay only for the aquariums and the rides. For one adult (high school age counts as adult): the Aqua Resorts Pass for the 4 aquariums is ¥3,500, the Pleasure Land Pass for the rides is ¥3,500, and the One Day Pass for both is ¥5,900. Children under 4 are free. Coming from Tokyo for the aquariums, the Keikyu "Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise Kippu" is the best deal: ¥3,950 from Shinagawa for the train there and back plus the Aqua Resorts Pass, ¥1,230 less than buying them one by one, and it adds a ¥500 coupon. Prices from the park's, Keikyu's and Seaside Line's official pages, checked 2026-10-10.

Which ticket should you buy?
- Aquariums only: the Aqua Resorts Pass (¥3,500). Coming by Keikyu train, buy the Sea Paradise Kippu instead (below).
- Aquariums + 3 or more big rides: the One Day Pass (¥5,900). It costs ¥2,400 more than the Aqua Resorts Pass, and any 3 of Leviathan, Aqua Ride II, Sonic Tune and the Tower already cost ¥2,800 or more as single rides.
- Aquariums + 1 or 2 rides: Aqua Resorts Pass + single rides. Leviathan + Aqua Ride II = ¥2,200, still under the ¥2,400 gap.
- Rides only: the Pleasure Land Pass (¥3,500) pays off from about 4 rides. Leviathan + Aqua Ride II + the Tower = ¥3,000; add the Viking (¥600) and you pass ¥3,500.
- Arriving after 16:00 on a weekend or holiday: the night passes save ¥2,000 (One Day vs Rakuen Night) or ¥700 (aquariums only) per adult.
What it costs a family
| Plan | Who | Cost |

| Aquariums + rides, evening (Rakuen Night Pass) | 2 adults + 2 elementary school children | ¥13,000 (2 × ¥3,900 + 2 × ¥2,600) |
| Aquariums only, with a 3-year-old too | 2 adults + 2 elementary + 1 age 3 | ¥11,400 (under 4 is free) |

The Keikyu Sea Paradise Kippu: the cheapest way from Tokyo
Keikyu sells a 1-day set ticket, the "Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise Kippu", at the ticket machines of its stations. It has three parts:
- a Keikyu round trip from your station to Kanazawa-Hakkei,
- a Seaside Line 1-day ticket (the small automated train to Hakkeijima Station),
- the Aqua Resorts Pass for the 4 aquariums, plus a ¥500 coupon for set shops on the island.
| From | Kippu (adult) | Kippu (child) | Same trip bought separately (adult) | You save |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shinagawa | ¥3,950 | ¥2,680 | ¥5,180 (Keikyu ¥570 × 2 + Seaside Line ¥270 × 2 + ¥3,500) | ¥1,230 + ¥500 coupon |
| Yokohama | ¥3,580 | ¥2,680 | ¥4,680 (Keikyu ¥320 × 2 + Seaside Line ¥270 × 2 + ¥3,500) | ¥1,100 + ¥500 coupon |
| Keikyu Kawasaki | ¥3,710 | ¥2,680 | — | — |
"Separately" uses paper-ticket fares; IC card fares are a few yen lower. The kippu is valid only on the day you buy it, and it is not sold at Sengakuji, the Haneda Airport stations or Kanazawa-Hakkei itself.
Want the rides too? Buy the kippu and add a Pleasure Land Pass on the island: ¥3,950 + ¥3,500 = ¥7,450 from Shinagawa. The One Day Pass with normal train tickets is ¥5,900 + ¥1,140 + ¥540 = ¥7,580. The kippu way is still ¥130 cheaper, and you keep the ¥500 coupon.
How to get there
- Station: Hakkeijima on the Seaside Line, an automated train along the coast.
- From Shinagawa or Yokohama (Keikyu): Keikyu Line to Kanazawa-Hakkei, then the Seaside Line to Hakkeijima (¥270, IC ¥265).
- From the JR Negishi Line: JR to Shin-Sugita, then the Seaside Line to Hakkeijima (¥320, IC ¥316).
- Direct bus: a limousine bus runs from Yokohama Station (YCAT) and the Minato Mirai area to the island, 2 trips a day.
- Cars cannot drive onto the island; parking is next to it (Lot A: ¥1,500 a day on weekdays, ¥2,000 on weekends and holidays). The park itself suggests trains on busy days.
To plan the rest of a Yokohama day, use our Yokohama day trip cost calculator and the Yokohama day trip itinerary. Sea Paradise is far from the harbour area (Minato Mirai and Chinatown), so plan it as a separate day rather than a stop on the harbour walk.
Hours and practical tips

- No ATM on the island. Bring a card or cash.
- Strollers can be rented through the Babycal service (book ahead): ¥250 for the first hour, then ¥100 per 30 minutes.
