Enoshima-Kamakura Freepass vs Enoden 1-day pass (calculator)

Add each Enoden ride you plan to take, and choose whether you start in Fujisawa or Shinjuku. The calculator compares single tickets, the Enoden 1-day pass "Noriorikun" (¥800) and the Odakyu Enoshima-Kamakura Freepass (¥810 from Fujisawa, ¥1,640 from Shinjuku). Rule of thumb from Fujisawa: 4+ Enoden rides → a pass, 3 or fewer → single tickets. Fares from the official Enoden and Odakyu pages (checked 2026-10-08).

Three rides (Fujisawa → Enoshima → Hase, then Hase ⇄ Kamakura) cost about the same as the ¥800 1-day pass.

Enoden rides

Odakyu fares depend on your station: use the official fare search or the ticket machine. The Romancecar fee (¥750 adult, ¥380 child, Shinjuku ⇄ Katase-Enoshima, each way) is paid on top of any ticket or pass.

    From our own visit

We once rode to Enoshima by bicycle, and plenty of other people were doing the same. The hard part was finding a place to park the bike, so if you cycle, allow some extra time for that when you arrive.

From Shinjuku: what the day costs

Bar chart, per adult from Shinjuku: Enoshima-Kamakura Freepass with regular trains ¥1,640, with the Romancecar one way ¥2,390, both ways ¥3,140. The Shinjuku Freepass beats the Fujisawa Freepass (¥810) when your Odakyu round trip costs more than ¥830.
The Shinjuku version costs ¥830 more than the Fujisawa version, and that ¥830 buys your Odakyu round trip.

    Frequently asked questions

Is the Enoshima-Kamakura Freepass worth it?

From Fujisawa, yes if you take 4 or more Enoden rides: the classic loop Fujisawa → Enoshima → Hase → Kamakura → Fujisawa costs ¥990 in single tickets against ¥810 for the pass. With 3 rides or fewer, single tickets are usually cheaper.

Is the Shinjuku version better than the Fujisawa version?

The Shinjuku version costs ¥1,640 per adult, ¥830 more than the Fujisawa version (¥810), and adds one Odakyu round trip Shinjuku ⇄ Fujisawa. Buy it if that round trip on a regular ticket costs you more than ¥830.

How much is the Enoshima-Kamakura Freepass with the Romancecar?

From Shinjuku, per adult: ¥2,390 with the Romancecar one way and ¥3,140 both ways (pass ¥1,640 plus ¥750 each way). Per child: ¥810 one way, ¥1,190 both ways.

Noriorikun or the Freepass from Fujisawa?

They differ by ¥10. Noriorikun (¥800) covers the Enoden only; the Freepass (¥810) also covers Odakyu trains between Fujisawa and Katase-Enoshima, the station closest to Enoshima Island.

Does either pass cover the Shonan Monorail?

No. Neither the Enoshima-Kamakura Freepass nor Noriorikun covers the Shonan Monorail.
